The Spitfires will look to continue their strong start to 2018 as they take on AFC Bournemouth in the Hampshire Senior Cup.
It provides Eastleigh with an opportunity to reach the Semi-Final of the Hampshire Senior Cup.
The Cherries, who field an under-23 side in the competition, finished runners-up last season, beaten by Basingstoke Town on penalties at St Mary’s.
Ahead of the fixture, Assistant Manager Ben Strevens said the squad were in a buoyant mood ahead of the fixture.
“The whole squad are looking forward to the game – they’ll probably bring a young side but a talented side,” said Strevens.
“Some of the boys need the minutes from a personal point of view – so for the lads who are coming back from injury, it will be a really good opportunity to prove themselves.”
Strevens reiterated the importance of taking their league form into the Cup competition.
“We’ve been on a good run in the league, but it has been the whole squad contributing and not just the starting eleven.
“We’re looking to carry this on against Bournemouth and ultimately hope to come out winners.”
