The Spitfires made it six league games without a loss after securing a professional 3-1 win at Maidstone on Tuesday night. The victory at The Gallagher Stadium helped Ben Strevens, who has been in permanent charge for three games, secure seven out of a possible nine points.

Striker Paul McCallum rose to joint fourth in the top goal scorer standings of the national league with an impressive eleven goals, adding two goals to his tally against Maidstone on Tuesday night. Adam Rooney of Salford City is the highest scorer in the league, five ahead of McCallum with sixteen goals.

Ross Flitney made his first league start of the season replacing Max Stryjek who picked up an illness before the Maidstone United game.

Andy Hessenthaler’s Dover head into this game fresh off the back of a 1-0 victory versus Boreham Wood, however they still sit in 23rd place in the Vanarama National League table.

Dover have won three out of their last five league matches, beating the likes of Boreham Wood, Hartlepool and Maidstone to lift them off bottom of the table and bring them to within four points of Maidenhead United who sit just outside the relegation zone.

Directions

Access by car onto Stoneham Lane is only possible via Bassett Green Road. There is no access to the stadium from the north end of Stoneham Lane due to ongoing road works.

The nearest train stations to the ground are Eastleigh and Southampton Airport Parkway, both of which are about a 20 minutes’ walk from the Silverlake.

Parking

The use of the car park is mainly for permit holders only.
Spaces are £5 each and payment is to be made on the day, at the gate.
Parking is on a first come first served basis.

Bars

The Hangar is available to home and away supporters and is an outside bar. The entrance to this bar is from outside the ground only. If you enter the ground before 15:00 or 19:45 you WILL NOT be able to access this bar. You will be asked to exit The Hangar bar 15 mins prior to kick-off.
After kick off the Hangar bar will become inside the ground and will be only accessible to home fans.
The downstairs bar in Sherwood’s is available to home fans only and entry can be gained via the back-fire exit door behind the north stand and NOT through the Club Shop.
