The Spitfires make their second mammoth journey of the week on Saturday when they take on Gateshead at the International Stadium. Will you be following the Boys In Blue at the 11,800 seater stadium?

If you are, here’s all the need to knows about our penultimate away trip of the season.

GETTING TO THE GROUND

At the end of the A1(M) Junction 65, take the A194(M) towards South Shields. At the end of the A194(M) take the A184 towards Gateshead. The stadium is situated three miles further along this road on the right-hand side.

TRAINS

The stadium has its own Metro stop called Gateshead Stadium, which is a five-minute walk away. This stop is around a ten-minute journey away from Newcastle Central railway station, which is also the nearest mainline station.

SUPPORTERS COACH

There are no places left on the supporters coach for this game – however, there is still the trip to Solihull Moors on the last day of the season. Please call the club on 02380 613361 to secure your seat.

The closest pub is the Schooner. It is situated down Neilson Road, away from Park Road and towards the Tyne, across Saltmeadows Road and down South Shore Road.

FOOD

Catering inside the stand offers a selection of Pies (£2.40), Pasties (£2.40) and Sausage Rolls (£1.70) – plus Hot Dogs, Burgers and a range of hot and cold drinks.
