Ben Williamson scored twice as Eastleigh drew to Dagenham and Redbridge 2-2 in the National Conference fixture at the Silverlake Stadium.
Eastleigh FC began their second home game of the season under early pressure as Dagenham stole possession from midfield following the Spitfires kick off.
The Daggers nearly struck early on as Oliver Harkins connected from a first time cross to head the ball down into the hands of Graham Stack.
Ben Williamson came close to putting the Spitfires ahead seconds later after latching onto Sam Wood’s long pass and firing his low shot into Mark Cousins hands.

Whitely finally challenged the Eastleigh goal in the seventh minute as his deflected free kick was incredibly saved by a diving Stack to keep the score level.
The Spitfires began to apply pressure of their own with Wood and Michael Green having some good link up play down the left hand side to trouble the Dagenham defence.
But it was The Daggers who drew first blood as Whitely managed to run onto a long ball and calmly take it around Stack to put Dagenham ahead after 13 minutes.
Chris Zebroski was substituted on at the 32nd minute for Paul McCallum after the Eastleigh forward was forced off by a leg injury.
Eastleigh struggled to contain the powerful runs of Morgan Ferrier as the big forward continued to cause problems for the home side.
The Daggers were soon forced to make a substitution as captain Scott Doe was injured during an aerial dual being replaced by recent loan signing Kevin Lokko
Mark Yeates came close in the 42nd minute with a long-range effort forcing Cousins to parry it out for an Eastleigh corner.
After some back and fourth play the Spitfires finally drew level as Ben Williamson ran onto a perfectly waited pass from Danny Hollands and slotted it under Cousins in the 44th minute.
The second half ended with excitement as Ayo Obileye was brought down by Kevin Lokko in the 45th minute to win a penalty for the Spitfires.
Williamson confidently stepped up and slotted the ball into the bottom corner to put the Spitfires ahead right at half time.
Dagenham continued to pressure in the second half as forward Oliver Harkins committed a strong foul on Gavin Hoyte causing the defender to require his head bandaged.
The Daggers persisted for an equaliser as substitutes Elliot Romain and Michael Cheek were brought on to replace Fejiri Okenabirhie and Oliver Harkins.
Eastleigh replaced goal scorer Williamson with James Constable in the 73rd minute as the Spitfires looked to hold onto their lead.
But the Daggers finally drew level as Whitely converted his penalty into the top corner following a controversial foul from Gavin Hoyte in the 75th minute.
Michael cheek looked to snatch a late victory, as his shot was sent wide of the Eastleigh goal in the 86th minute.
Eastleigh pilled on the pressure as Sam Woods late shot landed straight at the feet of Cousins in the 90th minute.
Both teams looked to clinch the victory in the final minutes but neither could put the final nail in the coffin.
The Spitfires now look to their next away fixture at Woking where they will aim to continue their undefeated run so far this season.
